I choose this poem, because I like comical types of literature. The funny side of this, is that he was a teacher, meaning he should never maek mistakes on his sprlling. He is talking about what can happen, if you do not work hard. Such as when kids use a spell checker, and it won't show that they they have missed a word or made a grammatical mistake.
The theme of the poem seems to be, people are too reliant on the use of technology for anything we do. People ask technology to do so many things for us, other than school help. Such as doing the dishes, or making a note of telling us when to call somebody, etc.
Some of the poetic devices in this poem are, onomatopoeia and repetition he says clit, clit, clit when talking about using the mouth (mouse). (Metaphor) So I got myself a spell checker and figured I was on Sleazy Street. This whole poem is based on irony, many words are not what they are actually supposed to be. (Simile) ...I know this makes me sound like a stereo,...
