I have just gotten off my father’s private Jet. We have been traveling for 18 hours, from Antarctica to Phoenix, Arizona. Ever since my father won the lottery we have been traveling several times in the past 2 years. I believe this is the 23rd house my dad has purchased in the past year and a half. I actually liked moving before. But this was just a little too much for me. Also, even though I got all the toys, food, and video games I liked, it was not very fun to have no friends to hang out with, and play the games with. I also did not really enjoy, having my father’s bodyguard as the only person that has been with me for a year and a half was not the biggest thrill ever.
After getting off the jet, I decided to go buy a bit of food. I ordered but we were leaving the airport so I didn’t have anything to eat for the 2 hour drive to the new house. My stomach was grumbling as I was getting to the limo. My dad had a bagged lunch ready for me when I hopped in the car. There was an assortment of foods in it. Pineapple, strawberries, apple, nutella and peanut butter sandwich, all bran bar, blue Gatorade, and cookies, all the food was fresh as well.
We spent the next 2 hours watching Family Guy and The Cleveland Show on the TV in our limo. Then, we got to the house, MAN this thing was HUGE. My dad had never bought a house this big. The thing was as wide and long as a football field. I decided to check out the house before I headed out for a rollerblade session. I grabbed a fresh pair of shorts, a shirt, and pair of socks. I slap on the 50th new pair of rollerblades I have gotten since the lottery winning. They are specially made to fit my feet and are the Rollerblade Spark Pro inline skates 2010.
I head out the door, and here my dad yell at me, “Be back for dinner, and be careful, don’t fall”. I shout back “I will be back, and I won’t fall, I never do”. I head out the front door slap on the final components to my rollerblades and take off. I decide to take the route that is closest to my house; it’s on the left side of the road. I have to remember that. Left. Left. Left. Right. Left. Right. Right. Left. Alright time to have some fun and loosen myself up. I rollerblade as fast as I can, not stopping for anything, I almost get hit by a car, but I don’t care, I was on top of the world, all I could feel was the wind going through my hair, the world passing by like I was in a speeding car.
I dart in and out of backstreets and through a whole bunch of parking lots. The road here is soooo smooth, I feel like a bird in the sky. I am a bullet getting shot from a gun. I decide to slow down, thinking my brake will stop me, I push into my heel really hard to stop. I keep trucking along, what the?!? What is happening? I look down to find that my brake has been broken off and all that was happening, was sparks were flying from what was left of my brake. I think this may or may not be the end of my life. A car comes out of nowhere and hits me, I black out and go unconscious.
I wake up out in the middle of nowhere, there are no buildings in sight and I did not see a single person. I could barely move my body, I could not feel anything. I saw that I had lost a huge amount of blood, and expected I was losing way too many bodily fluids; I was going to enter the stage of extreme dehydration soon. I see a fountain in the middle of the desert in front of me. I don’t know why it is there, and how it got there, but I don’t care, I jump to my feet and start running or at least trying to run with my rollerblades on, I fall when I am halfway there, I am soooo tired but I need water badly, I can taste it as I am getting up. Just a few more steps. Almost there… FINALLY. I made it thank god. I drink for what felt like an eternity. I then notice my wounds have been healed by this magical water. I drink and drink and drink until my body could not hold anymore of the magic drink; I thought to myself “I must mark this place with something so I can find it again.” There was nothing in sight to mark the fountain/area with, I felt really depressed after thinking about what my father would do to me when he hears about this extravaganza.
I then woke up to find several doctors and nurses surrounding me, and a blinding light striking my face. I looked around to see where I was. I see a sign on the doors from where I must have gotten into the room from; they say “Emergency Operating Room”. I realize I am at the hospital in Arizona. When my dad sees that I am kind of conscious, he rushes over to me and gives me a hug. He squeezed me too tight and I squealed in pain, “Sorry buds” he exclaims. I grin, “Hey dad, how’s it goin”? Okay, you look like you’re in rough shape though” I chuckle “Maybe just a little bit”. After the hours I was in the hospital I finally got out, my father told me that we will not be moving as much and we will be staying at the same place for a while.
